Empathetic caregiver with special education degree

I am a dedicated and empathetic caregiver with a background in Special Education and practical experience supporting children in home and educational settings. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Special Education, where I focus on counselling and inclusive approaches to care. I have hands-on experience providing full-time daily care for a one-year-old child, including planning age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety, supporting emotional development, and maintaining daily routines. Through this role, I built a strong, trusting relationship with the family and gained valuable experience in individualized childcare. During my university studies, I completed over 600 hours of practical training in mainstream and special schools, residential care homes, youth institutions, and social service facilities. I also volunteered with People in Need, supporting socially disadvantaged children with their learning, and worked at a residential camp for children with visual impairments. I am reliable, responsible, and highly organized. My strengths include empathy, active listening, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs. I take my work seriously and always strive to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
